Senior Manager, Talent Management
The opportunity
The Senior Manager, Talent Management is an exciting opportunity for a leader passionate about developing and executing enterprise Talent programs including: an inclusive enterprise talent review, succession planning, building development programs, and identifying future critical skills. As a member of the Talent COE and program owner of our enterprise Talent Review program, you will partner with P&C Business Partners, COEs and senior leaders to develop targeted solutions to build a strong and diverse talent pipeline.
Who you\'ll work with
Reporting to the Managing Director, Talent, you will work closely with P&C Business Partners and our Centres of Expertise to shape and deploy our enterprise talent program to identify and develop critical talent to deliver on our current and future business needs.
What you\'ll do
In partnership with our P&C business partners and COEs, lead inclusive enterprise talent review and succession while embedding external thought leadership into talent practices
Build and deploy programs to develop high potential talent across the enterprise including support for 360 feedback
Establish and maintain our enterprise coaching strategy to support career development and performance, including vendor management, engagement tracking and measurement of impact.
Establish and implement plan to identify critical future skills required to deliver on our enterprise strategy
Identify and cultivate strategies to facilitate career development and mobility across the enterprise
Identify and implement program and technology enhancements to the Talent Review and succession process to ensure program alignment to diversity, equity and inclusion principles
In partnership with P&C Business Partners and Director, Talent Advisory and Strategic Initiatives, partner with senior leaders to enhance team performance, alignment and cohesion by providing team-based facilitation and internal coaching interventions on an as needed basis
What you\'ll need
University degree with a focus on Organizational Behaviour, Leadership Development, IO Psychology, Human Resource Management or related field; Masters Degree considered an asset
A minimum of 10 years of dynamic human resources, talent and/or human capital consulting experience developing and running enterprise-wide talent management programs
Deep expertise in talent management programs including succession, talent review and related practices (mentoring, 360 feedback etc.)
Experience working in a large, complex organization with a geographically dispersed workforce
Ability to think strategically, and a demonstrated track record of implementing scalable solutions that meet current and future business needs
Extraordinary communication and influencing skills with ability to develop relationships across the enterprise and across levels
Demonstrated emotional intelligence to establish trust, maintain highly confidential information and develop positive relationships
Ability to think strategically and analytically, and to use data to drive decision making
Strong knowledge of talent management practices and trends, including, high potential leadership development, critical skills and succession planning
