As a Senior Manager of Strategic Financial Planning & Analysis at STEMCELL technologies, you will lead the Financial Planning and Analysis (FPA) departmental efforts to produce executive reporting packages, long term Income Statement and Cash Flows models, and dashboards that distill meaningful trends, insights, and recommendations that will affect company-wide decision making.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the ongoing Financial Planning and Analysis calendar of activities and cross-functional coordination between teams and systems to complete budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities
• Work with the Director of FPA to prepare executive presentations to support explanation and visualization of results highlighting assumptions, results, and impact of major drivers
• Design and deliver a process and related model/templates for mid-term and long-term P&L and Cash Flow forecasts, ensure data and methods are transparent and available to Finance users; identify improvement opportunities for other FPA-related systems, processes, executive reporting, and models, including optimal utilization of BI tools (e.g. Tableau)
• Support documentation of business requirements, process flows, and systems integrations needed for successful implementation of improvement opportunities, prioritize implementation of such opportunities and lead change management with stakeholders
• Play a key role in the selection, configuration, and implementation of a new FPA budgeting and reporting system and its integration with other Enterprise systems (e.g. Workday, SAP, SAC, Hyperion), train end-users, and suggest enhancements

Skills & Qualifications

• BSc. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, or Computer Systems with 10+ years of relevant experience, including management or supervisory experience. CPA-CA preferred, CFA and MBA is an asset
• Full P&L exposure is an asset
• Proven people leadership & supervisory experience as well as coordination with executives
• Advanced proficiency using MS Office, and Google Suite, specifically Excel and Google Sheets. Familiarity with Business Intelligence Software (ie Tableau) and ERP systems (ie SAP) SAC and Hyperion experience is an asset.
• Strong verbal & written communication
