Role Mandate:




The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of activities and accountabilities while working with all areas of Finance and Operations (Stores/SDM Pharmacies/Affiliates/Independents/Charge Account Customers) to build a culture and drive finance-centric operational excellence. Acting as a liaison for EBS and collaborating with cross functional teams, the role will be responsible for a wide range of tasks related to the execution of operational process impacting back-office finance and financial results. Using their experience and expertise, they will support, identify, and train the business on financially impacted processes. The role is thought provoking and people leader that influences behaviors across the enterprise be it Finance or Operations. It requires someone who can work and drive collaboration effectively within and across teams, knowledge of systems, both financial and store processes and must be able to drive value through governance, harmonization, process improvement, training, issue resolution and customer feedback. The role will act as a key resource to both the EBS pillars in delivering executional excellence and to operations in resolving and fixing financial process that are not working for operations

Role Accountabilities:



Provide excellent support to EBS, Finance, Operations and Pharmacy teams across the enterprise Analyze, and assist in resolving systems and business process issues from the Loblaw store community Ensure that company financial policies and procedures are being followed correctly and consistently Instrumental in harmonizing and resolving processes gaps Perform training with customer service, Finance, Operations, SDM Pharmacy and at-risk stores/DCs Develop, maintain, and manage KPIs, dashboards and conduct monthly reviews with finance and operations Report on responsiveness of Customer Service Team and customer feedback Participate in projects and the deployment of new solutions Managing a team of SFA's, Analysts and Co-ordinators, setting objectives and conducting performance reviews

Role Requirements:



Strong technical skills (Microsoft Office, SAP, Microstrategy, Store Systems) Post-Secondary Education preferably in Finance, Computer Systems or Analytics Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to lead teams and communicate effectively Capable of taking on a leadership role in a project capacity when required and act as a SME Able to participate in multiple projects and prioritize work to meet deadlines Willingness to seek innovative ways to change, grow and improve. Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills Ability to interact professionally with people at various levels of the business Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment while multi-tasking Ability to work with minimal supervision
