What will your typical day look like?

Our practice global reach, meaning you will interact with stakeholders in places like Montreal, Vancouver, Chicago, Hong Kong, Sweden, and many other interesting locations. Wherever it may be, as a Senior Manager, you will be leading engagement planning and budgeting; mobilizing and managing engagement teams; defining deliverables structure and content; facilitating buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client; managing engagement risk; directing on-time and quality deliverables. In addition, you will be developing and maintaining relationships with top decision-makers at key clients; organizing and leading pursuit teams; participating and leading aspects of the proposal development process and contributing to the development of proposal pricing strategies.

The Deloitte Supply Chain & Network Operations Consulting practice is the largest in the Canadian market and part of the largest consulting firm in the world and growing. We work hand-in-hand with our clients from virtually every industry to improve business performance, drive shareholder value and create competitive advantage. Our work involves developing innovative recommendations to address client issues and presenting the findings to senior executives. Depending on the project, we evolve this storyline into a strategic roadmap and detailed project plan for execution. Ensuring client success does not stop there. We also collaborate with clients through the implementation to see the vision become a reality.

The focus continues beyond the client. There are endless options for internal projects that individuals might be passionate about leading or joining: market research, proposals, recruiting, innovation labs, strategy development, AI joint-ventures, and career coaching/mentorship, just to name a few.

Enough about us, let's talk about you

Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in Engineering) and a minimum of 12 years of consulting and/or industry experience in sourcing and procurement with at least 3 years of experience in operationalizing climate and sustainability initiatives from a sourcing and procurement perspective
  • The ability to capture Corporate and Government policies and market intelligence requirements in designing sustainable sourcing solutions, category frameworks and impact assessments in line with client and industry requirements
  • Have an understanding of GHG protocol, climate and sustainability target setting methodologies, global reporting standards, scope 3 emission measurement and drivers, global frameworks to drive decarbonization in large organizations, and managing climate and sustainability transformation initiatives (especially in Supply Chain)
  • Experience in gathering and analyzing market and competitive intelligence, designing appropriate scenarios and business models considering multi-dimensional trade-offs and developing recommendations with implementation roadmaps and approaches
  • The ability to sell and deliver largescale end-to-end sourcing and procurement transformation programs which clearly outline the inclusion of sustainability considerations and application of new tools and accelerators to monitor Scope 3 emissions requirements
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, demonstrated leadership skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset
