Position Summary




Provide overall leadership and guidance to stakeholders & department staff on managing an integrated demand and supply forecasting process & utilize the outputs and information to drive financial shipment call estimates and manufacturing guidance. In addition, developing continuous improvement strategy and analytic directional opportunities in areas such as Supply Chain planning, distribution cost management, freight spend, supporting S&OP and IBP transformation across the business and project management support for the department and for the Head of Supply Chain Canada.

Key Responsibilities



Manage an Integrated Demand & Supply Planning process via Demantra with stakeholders to deliver a monthly national OTC & shipment forecast. Chair and manage the S&OP meeting process with regional sales, brand and trade marketing stakeholders, finance, and the Exec team. Integrate the regional market intelligence into Demand & Financial shipment planning. Incorporate Demantra intelligence into the monthly/quarterly/year to go financial shipment forecasting deck for Corby Executive. Collaborate and share outputs with Toronto finance to assist in P&L impact/risk and opportunity to budget assessment. Monthly shipment forecasts by sku and brand owner to 25+ production sites within the PR affiliate network and agency suppliers. Analyzing year end shipment results vs OTC sales to identify risks & opportunities for next year shipments and integrate into IBP and Financial landing strategy. Leading the allocation process from a Supply chain perspective, delivering insights, report tracking and recommendations to stakeholders (marketing, sales, and finance). Reporting of key S&OP KPIs to HQ such as drumbeat, FA, and Bias, identifying performance improvement opportunities, assisting with annual budget target setting and tracking for finished goods inventory. Providing support to Head of Supply Chain Canada with any reporting requirements for KPI's and PR HQ adhoc requests. Project management as assigned by VP Supply Chain North America. Manage the quarterly RF submission ensuring all inputs and data are suitable, identifying, and documenting risk and opportunities throughout the cycle to bring to Executive team as applicable. Continually review the S&OP process in collaboration with the larger Corby team to implement improvements and ensure its up to date with current business needs. Lead and coordinate the RTD S&OE on an end-to-end execution perspective from OTC forecast to inventory management, production planning and SSOS risk management. Complete the annual 3-year volume projections for Hiram Walker and Corby to be used for the Standard Cost setting and the 3-year GDS volume projections for PRW. Contribute and support other business functions such as SROG, quarterly brand summits, brand CAAP review, landing management, stage gate process and more. Ideate and build tools to elevate S&OP data analysis and automation across different groups such as supply chain, commercial and finance. Ensure OTC forecast is developed using best practice as set by HQ COE in terms of period of review and assumptions such as new products, discontinued products, cannibalization impact, seasonality, override management and drive the team towards an exception-based forecast. Lead other initiatives such as Simplify for Growth, SSOS reduction, innovation planning and others as required. Collaboration and standardization of the process and grow the S&OP maturity in line with the North American S&OP group and contribute to the North American Beyond Budget group. Progressive succession training of the Corby staff to grow and scale S&OP. Support the rollout and maintenance of new tools and technology to run the S&OP. Drive the continuous improvement and digital analysis across the different teams in collaboration with S&OP. Develop and implement strategic 3-year roadmap for S&OP in alignment with the PRNA supply chain mission and vision and the Corby strategic plans.

Required Skills & Abilities



Combination Supply, Logistics management & replenishment planning. Previous planning & management reporting experience. Computer literate with strong skills in Microsoft products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Systems Savvy, with experience within ERP systems (Oracle, Demand Planning). Excellent business acumen and analytical skills. Stakeholder Management. Demonstrated initiative, with strong attention to detail. Good oral, written & communication skills with ability to build relationships to partner on deliverables. Ambitious and self-starter who works well with limited supervision. Ability to meet tight deadlines.

Education




Required:

Undergraduate degree/diploma in business/commerce.

Preferred:

Financial accounting experience. Supply & Value Chain post-secondary training.

Experience




Required:

7 + years previous industry experience. Project management, operations planning, logistics planning, demand & replenishment mgmt.

Preferred:

Ability to leverage technology to improve efficiency and convert data into actionable information to deliver on objectives. Financial planning experience.
