MAKING AN IMPACT

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Solution and Platform Architecture to lead the design, evolution, and operational excellence of our enterprise Salesforce ecosystem. This is a high-impact leadership role that blends deep technical expertise with strategic thinking, people management, and innovation in AI technology.

As part of the Salesforce Solutions and CRM Strategy team, you will oversee platform architecture, technical standards, operational excellence, release management, and cross-functional enablement. You will lead a team of architects, developers, and platform engineers while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Security, Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Experience.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Lead the architectural vision and strategy evolution of the Salesforce platform:

Own and develop the architectural roadmap for Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, custom apps). Integrate AI technologies to optimize performance and automate processes. Drive modernization, best practices, and platform scalability in a multi-cloud, multi-org environment. Collaborate with the Director to align Salesforce strategy with business goals. Improved fundraising efficiency through automation and data-driven insights.

Oversee daily operations, incident management, and platform reliability:

Manage incident response, performance tuning, environment management, and release operations. Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for high availability. Support development and maintenance of solutions for fundraising and volunteer management. Ensuring uninterrupted donation processing and volunteer engagement.

Guide release management, DevOps practices and compliance:

Support CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and automation tools. Provide architectural guidance for compliant, high-quality releases. Manage environment strategy (sandboxes, dev/test/prod orgs), data refresh cycles, and deployments. Collaborate with QA and DevOps teams for continuous improvement. Faster delivery of new fundraising features and secure data handling.

Others:

Foster a high-performance culture that leverages the unique talents and strengths of each member while encouraging their growth and development. Champion CCS as a hero in the face of cancer. Contribute to our culture of diversity, inclusion, belonging and equity (DIBE) by ensuring that all staff feel represented, valued, and heard across all aspects of their identity, including gender, age, religion, ethnicity, nationality, race, and sexuality.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, business administration, or a related field. The role requires at least 5+ years of experience in Salesforce architecture, development, and operations, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role.

+ Strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and agile delivery models (tools like Copado, GitHub).
+ Experience supporting release management, deployment strategies, and automation tools.
+ Familiarity with environment management (sandboxes, dev/test/prod orgs) and data refresh cycles.

+ Experience defining and enforcing platform governance, security standards, access controls, and compliance (e.g., SOX, GDPR).
+ Collaboration with security, compliance, and IT teams to ensure data privacy and audit readiness.
