Senior Manager, Sales Strategic Partnerships

to join our Sales team.


In this leadership role, you will be responsible for cultivating and expanding relationships with CPA Canada's key accounts and partners across sectors including corporate, academic, and the public sector. You will drive strategic account planning and growth deepen engagement with existing clients, and identify new partnership opportunities that align with CPA Canada's business objectives.


This role requires a mix of strategic sales leadership, business development, enterprise sales and account management, and cross-functional collaboration.


This hybrid role has a national scope and is based in our Toronto office.





The targeted annual salary range for this position is $124,601 to $142,400 and is commensurate with experience.

This role also includes a comprehensive total rewards package.



What you'll do



Strategic Account Management



Lead the development and execution of account strategies for key clients and partners to drive long-term growth and value. Identify, develop, and grow strategic B2B and B2G partnerships. Lead negotiations and enterprise solutions (events, sponsorships). Align with public affairs, customer experience and marketing engagement teams. Maintain and grow high-value relationships with decision-makers at strategic accounts. Act as a trusted advisor to partners, identifying opportunities for mutual growth. Collaborate with product leads on the development of customized solutions and offerings aligned with partner needs and CPA Canada's priorities. Represent CPA Canada at priority industry events and partnership meetings. Explore co-branded or co-delivered solutions that support member and market needs. Ensure continued engagement through quarterly business reviews, performance targets & metrics, and joint planning.

Sales Strategy & Leadership



Contribute to overall sales and business development strategy, account segmentation & activation, and pipeline development across the B2B team. Support and mentor sales colleagues in best practices for enterprise-level relationship management. Provide strategic input into the development of sales materials, campaigns, and market positioning.

Reporting & Intelligence



Deliver regular updates on strategic account performance, opportunities, risks, and forecasts. Analyze market and client trends to inform CPA Canada's sales and product development priorities. Collaborate with the Customer Experience and Marketing teams to refine client personas and solution offerings.

What we're looking for



Required:



Undergraduate degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. 8-10+ years of experience in B2B sales, large account sales and management, or partnership development. Proven track record of managing complex accounts and closing strategic deals. Strong business acumen and negotiation capabilities. Exceptional relationship management and communication skills. Experience working with CRM systems and account planning tools.

Assets:



Familiarity with professional services, learning & development, or the association sector. Experience working with C-suite leaders and developing joint value propositions. Exposure to public sector or academic partnerships. Optional: Experience with Sales Hub CRM. Optional: Ability to conduct business in French.
