What you will do?

  • Provide business executives and senior management with analysis and recommendations on business performance, through identification of issues and ongoing monitoring, as well as provide analysis of strategic initiatives and key decision variables
Create weekly and monthly insights reporting for CFO and HR Operating committees providing detailed visibility of workforce movement and its financial implications to RBC. Proactively elevate issues and work with senior leaders to understand and manage their growth.
Prepare comprehensive financial trend reports for all business segments and their lines of businesses on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis; required for monthly/quarterly actual results, as well as all relevant forecasting/planning periods * Develop and maintain working relationships with segment Strategy and Finance teams to ensure performance across financial and non-financial metrics are aligned to mid-term objectives
  • Champion the productivity culture across the enterprise by leading key productivity routines and ensuring alignment and connectivity to financial routines
  • Own the production and socialization of the Productivity Performance Management Reporting at the enterprise level to provide visibility to progress against goals
  • Provide insights and guidance across planning and forecasting financial processes to ensure alignment to our ambitions
Manage build out of analytical and performance management dashboards for operating committees, group executive and CEO/CFO reporting purposes. Establish data solution to consume and present financial and non-financial data to a wide spectrum of senior audience
What do you need to succeed?
Must Have
  • 5+ years of experience developing and confidently delivering compelling and visually appealing presentations to senior leadership and stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for working collaboratively in a team environment across various teams and with executive audiences
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, with a passion for challenging the status quo in a collaborative manner
  • Experience and comfort working with large data sets and delivering actionable insights and recommended strategies
  • Ability to work through ambiguity and adapt accordingly
Nice to Have
  • Strategy or consulting experience in a Consulting Management, Financial Services, or entrepreneurial environment, or other comparative experience
  • Experience in a Finance Performance Management and/or Cost Efficiency function
  • Post-graduate degree - MBA/EMBA, Masters in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a similar field
  • CPA/CMA, CA, CFA or any other finance/risk accreditations
