The impact you\xe2\x80\x99ll make

As the Senior Manager of Strategic Partnerships, you will play a key role in driving innovation and fostering collaboration between Advance and key strategic industry partners. Your primary responsibility will be to identify technology innovations that align with our roadmap and work with our partners to bring those innovations to life while extracting the most value back to the business with our significant spends. By building strong relationships with partners and staying abreast of technology trends, you will position yourself as a thought-leader and contribute to solving strategic and operational challenges faced by our businesses.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do

Develop relationships with senior level partners across the industry including Meta, Google, Pinterest, Bell Media, Rogers, Spotify, Neptune Retail Solutions to partner on new shared capabilities and opportunities

Work closely with our core media JBP partners to optimize outcomes, and achieve annual goals

Stay updated on technology innovations, synthesize findings, and share insights with business leaders

Collaborate with enterprise team members to identify potential opportunities for external strategic partnerships, acting as the main point of contact for privacy, legal, product, and procurement teams

Drive the development and implementation of new products, selling models, and measurement solutions

Create presentation documents that effectively communicate the business rationale for new partnerships or provide updates on existing partnerships

Identify and meet with prospective strategic partners

Develop business cases and detailed financial models for prospective partnerships

Support negotiations with potential partners to improve the success of the partnership and benefit to the company

Manage the ongoing relationship with partners while tracking the progress, impact, and key takeaways

Lead communication with leadership on value of partnership, risks and opportunities

Foster a positive work environment that promotes exemplary service, quality, innovation, and teamwork

Does this sound like you?

  • 10 years in media planning, account, or campaign management (CPG or Retail experience would be an asset)
  • Proven track record in client services, managing accounts with a value of $1M or more
  • Strong understanding of ad platform technology
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or College Diploma in a related field such as Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or Advertising
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing omnichannel media plans, with measurable outcomes
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in business development/partnership management
  • Experience in contract management and negotiations
  • Strong financial analysis, modeling, storytelling, and presentation-building skills, with the ability to provide recommendations and highlight financial implications
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present ideas effectively
  • Able to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external partners; able to effectively communicate issues, actively engage and influence and work collaboratively as a team member
