Ross Video is modernizing and scaling the digital backbone that powers our manufacturing operations and we're looking for a Senior Manager, Manufacturing Systems to lead that transformation. This role oversees the team responsible for factory systems, business system integrations, and the data infrastructure that ensures accurate, timely, and traceable information across our operations.

You'll lead a multi-skilled group of developers, analysts, and support staff, ensuring our tools are stable, maintainable, and aligned with our long-term manufacturing and IT strategies. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of systems, data, and real manufacturing processes.

What the job is all about:

Lead and grow the team

Mentor a multi-skilled group that develops and supports factory applications, data infrastructure, dashboards, and integrations. Help set direction, remove roadblocks, and build a culture focused on practical, reliable solutions.

Own our manufacturing systems ecosystem

Oversee the design and improvement of factory tools, equipment interfaces, MES support, automation scripts, and data collection systems. Ensure our software applications, third party solutions, dashboards, data pipelines, and internal applications are consistent, scalable, and well-documented.

Drive structure and delivery

Use a clear intake and tracking process to keep work organized, prioritized, and transparent. Lead issue triage and ensure recurring problems turn into lasting fixes, not repeat firefighting.

Collaborate across the organization

Represent manufacturing in IS/IT planning, system changes, and data architecture discussions. Partner with Engineering, Planning, Quality, and Process Owners to ensure systems reflect accurate logic and operational needs.

Protect data quality

Support automated monitoring of Item Master, BOMs, routings, and other core manufacturing data. Guide investigations and ensure rules and documentation stay aligned with QMS expectations.

Who you are:

Experience & Education

2-5 years of development experience (ideally supporting operations, factory systems, test tooling, or similar). Degree or diploma in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience. Familiarity with factory systems like MES, PLM, or ERP is a bonus.

Technical Skills

Strong Python and SQL skills Understand how to develop and support integrated systems. Comfortable with basic web development (HTML/JS; React/Dash/Plotly a plus). Experience building tools for non-technical users (UIs, dashboards, utilities). Understanding of APIs, relational databases, and Git workflows. Experience working with or near physical systems (bonus if you've done test automation or factory integration work).

Mindset & Traits

Exceptional communication skills, ability to explain and understand concepts and new ideas. You enjoy working directly with others. You're curious about how manufacturing works; machines, people, constraints, systems. You ask great questions, listen well, and propose clean, practical solutions. You document and test your work. Inclusivity drives innovation and creativity, and that's something we're passionate about at Ross!
