Job Summary





What is the opportunity?




This is a terrific opportunity to join RBC's Enterprise Performance Management Finance team where you will provide value-added strategic financial advice to senior leadership. You will be responsible for the overall coordination and delivery of the Finance component of RBC's Enterprise-Wide Stress Testing program. Additionally, you will support the bank's planning and forecasting processes in a fast paced, high-profile group.



The Enterprise Performance Management team provides the CFO, Group Executive, and the Board of Directors with insightful and timely analysis to support and influence decision making. Through value-added advice, we enable early identification of opportunities and issues, and make actionable strategic recommendations that support long-term bank performance.



You will work closely with leaders across all platforms to enhance Enterprise Performance Management capabilities and drive continuous improvement. You will have the opportunity to develop strong relationships with colleagues across a diverse set of stakeholder groups including Group Risk Management, Corporate Treasury, CFO Group, Human Resources, Technology & Operations, and Finance Shared Services.



You will "get things done" and deliver high quality work that is produced efficiently within tight timelines. You will support key RBC enterprise priorities while establishing, monitoring, and maintaining effective plans and controls to ensure that they are completed on time. You will work closely with and support the Senior Director, Enterprise Performance Management in successfully delivering on a challenging portfolio of projects and initiatives.

What you will do?



Lead the overall coordination and delivery of the Finance component of RBC's Enterprise-Wide Stress Testing program Assist in the design and implementation of drivers-based forecasting and planning processes Support enterprise-level Financial Planning and Analysis, including the facilitation of financial plan and forecast cycles, coordination with key finance and business stakeholders; reporting and analysis to senior leadership; and development of best-in-class forecasting methodology. Support Enterprise Performance Management activities across the organization through transparent management reporting, benchmarking, and analysis Work with Functions Finance, Technology & Operations, and the business segments teams to enhance allocations transparency

What do you need to succeed?



Must Have



Undergraduate degree (preferably in Business, Finance, or Accounting) or related experience 5+ years of experience in the banking industry, at a consulting firm, or in public accounting Previous experience in a fast-paced work environment supporting senior executives Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical skills and a keen attention to detail

Nice to Have



Master's Degree in Business or Finance (MBA, MFin, etc.) Accounting Designation: CPA, CA, CMA (or international equivalent) Superior Financial Modelling skills
