Qualifications:Metrolinx is connecting communities across the Greater Golden Horseshoe. Metrolinx operates GO Transit and UP Express, as well as the PRESTO fare payment system. We are also building new and improved rapid transit, including GO Expansion, Light Rail Transit routes, and major expansions to Toronto\'s subway system, to get people where they need to go, better, faster and easier. Reporting to the Director, Talent and Brand Strategy, Senior Manager, Early Talent will develop, manage, and execute early talent acquisition programs, encompassing school footprint, brand strategy, compensation program, selection process, metrics, diversity strategy for the hiring of all coops, new grads, students, interns across the organization.You will lead a passionate team of Early Talent Acquisition consultants and managers responsible for building effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment of early talent acquisition solutions with workforce planning, inclusion programs, structure design, and job design.What You\'ll Do\xe2\x80\xa6

  • You will design, build, implement and oversee the execution of all strategies and solutions that attract, develop, and retain early talent with inclusive approaches around diverse talent.
  • Together with your team, you will establish plans, both strategic and technical, including metrics that contribute to the corporate priorities and strategic objectives.
  • As a senior leader in early talent acquisition, you will evaluate industry and market specific challenges, trends and opportunities to inform early talent planning and drive channel strategies to engage and attract key early talent.
  • You will work collaboratively with your team to identify, develop, and manage relationships with key schools and post-secondary institutions. Seek opportunities to strengthen on-campus presence via ties with student groups, faculty, targeted partnerships, and career centers to educate and promote Metrolinx\'s employer value proposition.
  • You\'ll drive campus branding and attraction initiatives, building and executing on a calendar of events that offers unique student experiences and deepens engagement.
  • As a passionate leader of early talent acquisition, you will evaluate, enhance, and manage current new talent programs in place and creates new programs based on business needs.
  • Manage early career talent pipelines and drive streamlined, consistent and compliant processes across the end-to-end recruitment cycle.

  • You are bringing 5+ years of experience leading campus and early talent acquisition teams.
  • As a strategic talent leader you have experience developing and/or implementing large-scale / business unit-wide early talent programs and initiatives.
  • You have superior written and verbal communication skills with a strong aptitude and passion for organizational storytelling.
  • You are a hands-on leader with proven experience evaluating and presenting metrics that track effectiveness and delivery towards human capital and business strategies.
  • As an inspirational and engaging people leader and coach, you are dedicated to driving results while promoting development, collaboration and fun within your team.
  • You are obsessed with data and enjoy translating and transforming insights into strategic initiatives.
