Role Overview:
The role of the Senior Manager, Partnership Marketing is to plan, prepare, manage and activate client sponsorships strategies and marketing campaigns on behalf of our brand partners. This role involves conducting relevant and insightful internal and external analysis, identifying and communicating influential business implications, creating compelling storylines and developing key recommendations rooted in strategic insights, to ensure client satisfaction.
As such, candidates should be well versed in all tenets of sponsorship strategy and be comfortable operating with ambiguity, while demonstrating strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Key Accountabilities:
\xc2\xb7 Critical and Strategic Thinking: Strategically planning, executing, and coordinating logistics for all phases of events and sponsorship activations to help champion sponsorship programs.
\xc2\xb7 Solutions Based Marketing: Diagnosing partner (client) briefs and responding with sponsorship/partnership-oriented marketing solutions. Being a champion of thoughtful solutions to partner issues as they arrive.
\xc2\xb7 Brand Ideation & Strategic Territory Exploration: With the help of the Director, bringing forward new ideas, partnership opportunities, brand narratives, and brand acts congruent with the brand\'s overall objectives.
\xc2\xb7 Marketing Plan Ownership: Ensuring project plans are delivered on time and on budget by maintaining work back schedules and status reports.
\xc2\xb7 Relationship Management: Establishing and maintaining effective relationships within and outside the immediate team.
\xc2\xb7 Executional Excellence: Taking accountability for the partner (client) experiential and sponsorship events, in close collaboration with partner (client) and sport property owner.
\xc2\xb7 Industry Expertise: Act as the Subject Matter Expert on all issues relating to Sport Marketing including sport media partnerships. Analyse ongoing sponsorship and market trends within sports, arts, entertainment and lifestyle. Translate the key insights and learnings into strategic and tailored partner (client) recommendations.

\xc2\xb7 A track record of client leadership across dynamic marketing projects

\xc2\xb7 Confident communicator capable of presenting complex information.
\xc2\xb7 An ability to navigate throughout different levels of organizations, work independently or as team member.
\xc2\xb7 A comfort level working with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint programs.
Education and Experience:
\xc2\xb7 University or relevant college degree
\xc2\xb7 5+ years of strategic marketing experience (with agency roles as a plus)
