Job Title Senior Manager, Agile Enablement



What is the opportunity?

The Agile Enablement role is responsible for formulating the agile enablement strategy and facilitating the delivery of agile enablement plans for teams across P&CB. Enabling the implementation of agility at scale, conceiving and implementing capability building and coaching plans aligned to business needs to raise state of agile maturity across all of P&CB. This role is critical to driving the adoption of agile ways of working and the achievement of outcomes across P&CB's business teams, including improved team cohesion, faster and more frequent delivery of value to market, and the ability to pivot quickly to respond to change.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Provide agile transformation advice and guidance for business teams across P&CB at both the strategic and the practical level.
  • Guide the transformation change for business stakeholders at all levels of P&CB, through agile enablement strategy, capability building and coaching.
  • Support the development of the Agile Enablement team, defining best practices, building enablement materials and bringing in new approaches to enablement in pursuit of continuous improvement.
What will you do?
  • Define agile enablement strategic plans with business stakeholders by assessing team maturity levels, assessing team needs and by leveraging your broad understanding of agile practices and mindset.
  • Deliver capability building to business stakeholders and teams to enable agile ways of working at scale.
  • Deliver hands-on agile coaching to enable agile ways of working at team level.
  • Monitor and measure progress towards outcomes of agile enablement and agile maturity amongst teams and across all of P&CB.
  • Contribute to creation of agile enablement curriculum and materials.
  • Support continuous optimization of the Agile Enablement team by providing recommendations for improvement based on learning and feedback from engagement with business teams.
  • Participate in Agile Enablement team communications including road shows, town halls and departmental presentations that promote the principles and value of Agility and Agile Enablement.
What do you need to succeed?

Must have
  • Deep knowledge of agility practices, principles and values.
  • Hands-on experience in applying agile practices with business teams.
  • Deep understanding of common agile tools and routines: Setting OKRs, defining a roadmap, developing and managing a backlog, the stand-up, the retrospective.
  • Skilled at managing relationships to assess needs and iterate towards desired outcomes.
  • Ability to develop and foster teamwork.
  • Experienced facilitator and presenter.
  • Working knowledge of Confluence, Jira, LeanKit, Mural.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills: both written and verbal.
  • Growth mindset, oriented to continuous learning.
  • Comfortable in ambiguous environments, able to lead with little direction and set strategic goals and outcomes based on experience.
Nice to have
  • Experience working in a complex multi-team environment.
  • Experience as Scrum Master, Product Owner or Agile Coach working with multiple teams.
  • Experience supporting a significant organizational change.
