About the Role
Reporting to the Director, Financial Reporting and Planning, the Sr Manager, Accounting will play a pivotal role in overseeing the accounting operations for the Foundation. As the Sr Manager, Accounting you will lead the full end-to-end accounting cycle, including areas such as cash management, accounts payable, deferred accounts, and both month-end and year-end close. You will lead the preparation and submission of regulatory filings, such as the T3010 Registered Charity Information Return to the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), and lottery reporting to the Alcohol Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO). You will also function as the primary contact for our external audits and lead the preparation of the annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. The Sr Manager, Accounting will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of the Foundation's financial reporting and will drive process improvements in the pursuit of continued operational excellence and provide other support as required by the Director, Financial reporting and Planning, and VP, Finance.
