NOTE: This is a remote, full-time permanent, work-from-home position and is open to all applicants from across Canada. We will provide you with everything you need to succeed in your role.
Responsibilities:


  • Design and implement AI/ML model deployment strategies into production environments
  • Ensure deployed models and automated pipelines are monitored for uptime, efficiencies, and business impact
  • Enhance CI/CD pipeline automation to improve quality and reduce cycle time
  • Constantly scan the ever-changing MLOps landscape to propose improvements
  • Author and run an MLOps roadmap to realize best practices and increase the robustness of deployed solutions
  • Write AWS Lambda functions and other related ML scripts (e.g. internal python apps, test automation)
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Architects, DevOps, and Software Engineers

Required Skills:

  • Expert software development skills; Python is a must
  • Industry experience using Amazon SageMaker to execute across the ML lifecycle
  • Advanced knowledge in AWS cloud services (e.g. S3, EC2, Lambda)
  • Proficiency with tools like Terraform to automate provisioning of infrastructure
  • Cloud data warehouse and SQL experience, with a preference for Snowflake
  • Knowledge of ML models and how they can be leveraged
  • API design, 3rd party integration, versioning
  • Proficiency with storing, managing, and deploying container images
  • 5+ years of work experience as part of a data science, machine learning, or other software development team
  • Understanding of software engineering best practices, design patterns, and algorithms
  • Leadership experience defining and implementing strategic roadmaps ensuring best practices are well-defined and followed
  • Experience identifying, learning, and trialing cutting-edge technologies to consider adoption into ML pipelines
