Job Overview:

A global automation machine Manufacturer is looking for a Welder with CWB License in their team.

We are looking for someone who has CWB. This is not an entry or associate position. You will also need minimum of 5 years of welder experience at machinery manufacturer in Canada.

This position is a direct hired and permeant position.

As a Welder, you will be responsible for assembling and welding metal components according to specifications. (You must be capable to read blueprint and assemble machines). This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various tools and equipment. Millwright qualifications would be a great asset.

Responsibilities for Welder:

Read and interpret engineering blueprints, drawings, and specifications Operate welding equipment to weld, cut, bend, and fabricate metal components Use hand tools and machinery such as plasma cutters and press brake machines Perform welding tasks using various techniques including MIG, TIG, and stick welding Inspect welds for accuracy and quality control Assemble and fabricate metal structures according to project requirements Other duties assigned by managers

Requirements for Welder:

CWB Certification Proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints Mechanical knowledge for understanding equipment and tools Machine building experience Ability to perform machining tasks as needed Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations Experience with plasma cutting equipment Familiarity with operating press brake machines Proficient in using hand tools to assemble and fabricate metal components This position includes manufacturing and warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, lift in excess of 50 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.*
