As a Senior Lead Cloud Network Engineer at our client, you will be engaged in various assignments that will regularly test your ability to use Cloud technology and automation to tackle large-scale challenges.

• Function as part of a multi-disciplinary squad to build out through design and automation, our Cloud platform connectivity stacks.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies to help deliver our products and reach delivery on project commitments within our team.
• Collaborate with development teams for business portfolios to provide optimal network solutions for our products.
• Utilise your technical knowledge to drive the delivery of scalable & secure network resources.
• Participate in design and feedback workshops to improve our services and quality of work and deliver on those designs.
• Lead new design and service catalogue standards and instructions.
• Assist in solving issues with the Cloud Platform & services related to network connectivity,
• Assist and provide end-to-end resolution and root cause analysis in collaboration with other functional groups, business units, and vendors.
• Build Cloud network connectivity architectures & systems.

What You Will Need

• Ability to review functional and technical requirements, raising potential issues and participating actively in design discussions and review.
• 7+ years experience configuring, implementing, designing network solutions with Palo Alto, Panorama, Cisco and Juniper.
• 5+ years hands-on experience with Cloud Networking solutions with Azure and experience in the following areas Terraform, Ansible, Docker or equivalent Cloud-native technologies.
• 2+ years proven experience with Kubernetes Networking and/or experience with other technologies such as Service Mesh, Rancher, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• 5+ years proven knowledge and demonstrable experience of developing IaC via automated scripts using Terraform, Python, Ansible within AWS or ADO
• Familiarity and demonstrated working knowledge with VMWare vCloud to include vRealize Suite and NXS-T
• Use of DevOps tools and process in creating pipelines using GIT, Jenkins and/or ADO.
• Expert knowledge of LAN & WAN networking, TCP/IP, load balancing principles, infrastructure management concepts, and common internet services/protocols
• 7+ years experience in configuring, designing, implementing Software Defined Networking, SDWAN and Network Function Virtualization using automation via CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with industry compliance and security standards
