The Opportunity

As a Senior Project Manager in Invistec's Calgary office, you will take ownership of complex, high-profile civil infrastructure projects while playing a key role in growing our Calgary presence. You will be trusted with clients, empowered to lead teams, and supported by a strong executive group and technical bench across Alberta.

What You'll Lead

Project Leadership

Deliver complex civil infrastructure projects including: Residential, commercial, and mixed-use land development Municipal roads, streetscapes, and urban renewal projects Water, sanitary, and stormwater systems, including LID solutions Lead projects from concept through approvals, tender, construction, and close-out Act as Engineer-of-Record where appropriate Drive scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk management with confidence Produce and review high-quality technical deliverables and cost estimates

Client & Market Leadership

Serve as a trusted advisor to municipal and development clients in the Calgary region Lead client relationships and represent Invistec externally Support proposals, fee negotiations, and pursuit strategies Help grow Invistec's municipal and land development footprint across Southern Alberta

Team & Culture

Mentor and develop engineers and technologists Help build the Calgary team through recruitment and coaching Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing culture Influence how Invistec delivers work--not just what we deliver

Governance & Excellence

Navigate City of Calgary and regional municipal standards with authority Apply best practices in QA/QC, constructability, and risk management Uphold Invistec's reputation for technical excellence and professionalism

What You Bring

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering P.Eng. designation with APEGA 10+ years of experience in civil consulting engineering Proven leadership of Alberta land development and/or municipal infrastructure projects Strong understanding of Calgary and area municipal approval processes Demonstrated success managing teams, budgets, schedules, and clients Confidence, professionalism, and a desire to lead--not just execute

Pay: $90,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
