Job Title: Java Developer

Location: Toronto, ON

Job type: Contract on T4

Job Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing APIs. \xc2\xb7

• Meeting both technical and consumer needs. \xc2\xb7 \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledge in Java 8/java 11, Spring boot and microservices. \xc2\xb7 \xe2\x80\xa2 Java (required) Knowledge of RESTful API patterns and Micro services.

• Experience in Java (JEE/Spring Core/Spring Boot/Rest API/Microservice/JSON/ XML/MySQL) \xc2\xb7 \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledge of OAuth2 security \xc2\xb7 \xe2\x80\xa2 Solid knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS protocol and TCP/IP networking. \xc2\xb7 \xe2\x80\xa2 Familiarity with common software development tools - editors, build systems, Git, BitBucket \xc2\xb7 \xe2\x80\xa2 Team management and support. \xc2\xb7 Design and develop solutions that meet the functional and non-functional requirements \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in full lifecycle software development, SDLC including coding standards, code reviews, source code management, build processes, testing and value of metrics and incremental delivery. \xc2\xb7 \xe2\x80\xa2 Good communication skills (verbal and written) \xc2\xb7 Effort estimation of work \xc2\xb7 \xe2\x80\xa2 Coordinate & work with various stakeholders from technology & business teams

Required Skills:

• Bachelor\'s degree in computer science or related major.

• Experience of Java Backend API technologies: Java, Spring & SpringBoot, Microservices, JPA and/or design techniques and tools and Cloud -Azure/AWS.

• Experience in full lifecycle software \xc2\xb7 Experience working in Agile projects.

• Associate should write unit test cases and use cases and complete Unit testing.

• Associate should assist junior member if required & provide support to QA and UAT test team.

• Associate should be flexible to support Prod and work on critical issues from production.
