Fed IT, a recruitment firm specializing in recruitment for IT professionals, we works on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent.

We cover open positions in IT, development, business intelligence, and infrastructure professions.
We are currently looking for a senior IT technician in on-site mode for one of our clients located on the south shore of Montreal.

• Take part in the deployment and management of IT infrastructures, ensuring the maintenance and troubleshooting of the technological infrastructure;
• Plan and coordinate updates to servers and IT equipment;
• Continuously improve operational efficiency, optimization, and reduction of interventions across all activities;
• Contribute to the writing and updating of systems knowledge base documentation as well as operating guides;
• Identify, investigate, and resolve technical and network issues related to infrastructure;
• Study and make recommendations to improve existing infrastructure;
• Oversee the effective delivery of projects, managing the planning, execution, control, and closeout stages, as well as aspects related to risk, quality, and communications management;
• Provide recommendations regarding the life cycle of infrastructure technologies;

• Degree in computer science;
• At least 5 years of experience in management and maintenance of IT infrastructures.
• In-depth expertise in Windows Server systems;
• Solid knowledge of Exchange / O365.
• In-depth mastery and hands-on experience with VMware/vSphere.
• Solid knowledge and experience of SAN storage solutions.
• Excellent knowledge of Active Directory, Security Groups, GPOs, failover clusters, cross-site replication, and the Veeam backup solution.
• Knowledge of data center management.
• Good knowledge of telecommunications protocols and equipment

such as Meraki, Ubiquity, and WatchGuard.

• Skills in PowerShell, Linux (asset);
• Good knowledge of information transmission;
• Bilingual (French-English)
