AMBIO LIFE SCIENCES manages a series of psychedelic treatment centers located in Tijuana/Rosarito area in Mexico just south of border from San Diego, and we are in the process of opening a satellite facility in Malta later this year. We provide medically and therapeutically supervised treatments with ibogaine, as well as adjunct therapies.
People come to our centers to receive treatments for drug detoxification, neuropathic pain, neurodegenerative disorders (Parkinson's, MS, etc), traumatic brain injury, as well as mental health issues. Our treatments are integrated with cutting edge-medical technologies and we are part of several research programs focusing on the medical applications of the therapies that we provided. Our owners have a combined 50 years of experience in the field and maintain one of the largest and most comprehensive clinical ibogaine practices in the world.
About the Position
The system administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining and optimizing the organizations computer systems, edge devices, compliance, networks, Microsoft CRM (Customer Relationship Management) platform and associated systems and tools. This role is vital for ensuring that systems operate efficiently, support business processes and enhance user and customer experience. Additionally, this role ensures systems run smoothly, securely and efficiently, while supporting the technical needs of employees in the organization. The administrator collaborates with various team members to align systems requirements with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Install, upgrade, and configure computer systems, software, and hardware.
Monitor system performance and ensure optimal operation of servers, networks, and applications.
Diagnose and resolve system errors and outages promptly.
Perform regular system audits to ensure compliance with IT standards and policies.
Manage and maintain the Microsoft CRM platform, including Dynamics 365, Business Central and M365 Productivity Suite at the E3 level.
Monitor system usage and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and disruptions.
Ensure systems and networks are secure by applying the latest patches, updates, and security configurations.
Monitor for security breaches and respond accordingly.
Establish and enforce data protection measures, backup protocols, and disaster recovery systems.
Develop and implement IT security policies in collaboration with the leadership
Implement role-based access controls, in compliance with GDPR regulations. Proficiency in GDPR in the context of information management and information technology is a definite asset
Configure CRM workflows, dashboards, and reports to meet business needs.
Customize fields, entities, and forms within the CRM system to align with organizational requirements.
Implement integrations between Microsoft CRM and other systems, such as ERP software or third-party tools.
Provide first-line technical support to staff, addressing issues related to hardware, software, and networks.
Train users on system functionalities and best practices.
Document technical procedures and maintain an accessible knowledge base for common IT issues.
Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security within the CRM system, email and all IT systems.
Perform regular data cleansing, deduplication, and validation tasks.
Monitor and manage access controls to safeguard sensitive customer data.
Provide L1 technical support to users, addressing questions and resolving IT issues
Escalate L2 and up issues to vendors as required
Develop and deliver training sessions to help users maximize the features and functionalities of systems / applications
Create user manuals and documentation for reference and troubleshooting purposes.
Evaluate and recommend system upgrades and improvements based on technological advancements and organizational needs.
Implement automation tools to streamline IT tasks and improve efficiency.
Monitor trends and stay up to date with emerging technologies that could benefit the organization.
Generate reports and dashboards to provide insights into customer interactions optimize operational performance.
Analyze data trends to help the organization make informed decisions and refine strategies.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define metrics and reporting requirements.
Work closely with all team members across regions to optimize CRM processes.
Collaborate with IT personnel to address technical challenges and implement enhancements.
Act as a liaison between business and software vendors when necessary.
Manage edge device (laptop, tablet, etc.) vendors, orders, repairs and returns.
Set and manage company-wide standard images and controls.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
Certified System Administrator in Microsoft Dynamics and Business Central
3+ years-experience as a system administrator with Microsoft Dynamics 365 at the E3 level, Dynamics 365 CRM and Business Central.
Proficiency setting up a new company on M365 Business Standard and E3, including all required users, permissions, RBACs and controls. Must have experience provisioning new hardware and users, and documenting the environment for business continuity and knowledge transfer
Sound familiarity with Microsoft Suite tools such as Azure, PowerApps, Power BI.
Sound familiarity with cloud computing platforms including Azure.
Certification in Microsoft Azure preferred.
Strong technical knowledge of CRM systems and their architecture.
Proficiency in customization and configuration of CRM workflows and dashboards.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Ability to identify, assess, and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot complex systems and networks.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to explain technical concepts in an accessible manner.
