Are you a seasoned IT Project Manager with strong experience delivering complex technology initiatives within cybersecurity, identity and access management (IAM), and enterprise-scale transformation programs? This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead medium-to-large projects, strengthen cybersecurity controls, streamline IAM processes, and ensure high-quality delivery through disciplined project management practices.
Working with one of our top financial clients, this position calls for a Senior IT Project Manager - Cybersecurity (IAM) who will oversee full project lifecycle execution, manage cross-functional teams, collaborate with technical and business stakeholders, and drive successful outcomes using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with strong organizational skills, deep cybersecurity understanding, and the ability to guide teams through complex deliverables with clarity and confidence.
Responsibilities:

• Define test plans and ensure product readiness prior to User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Lead end-to-end project planning, including scope management, budgeting, timelines, scheduling, and performance tracking.
• Oversee and manage project resources, including direct reports, matrixed teams, contractors, and interns.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, ensuring clear expectations and accurate project progress updates.
• Ensure adherence to systems development and project management processes.
• Monitor and proactively address risk assessments throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate the UAT process, including development of rollout procedures and implementation plans.
• Lead development teams in delivering high-quality software solutions aligned with business needs.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to steering committees and project sponsors.
• Manage medium-to-large projects while partnering with business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams.
• Source, procure, motivate, coach, and support project staff.
• Collaborate with functional teams to define and refine business requirements.
• Prepare cost-benefit analyses to support decision-making.
• Plan, execute, control, and close projects according to established policies and procedures.

Desired Skill Set:

• 5+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager, delivering medium-to-large technology projects end-to-end.
• 5+ years of experience managing Waterfall and Agile projects, with a strong understanding of hybrid delivery models.
• 3+ years of experience with SharePoint, JIRA, and Confluence, supporting project documentation and tracking.
• 5+ years of experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies, including standups, grooming, sprint review, and retrospectives.
• 2+ years of experience working in cybersecurity, ideally with exposure to IAM, security controls, or risk mitigation.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with proven ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Advanced skills in risk assessment, scope management, resourcing, and budget planning.

Nice to Have:

• PMP Certification
• Familiarity with ServiceNow for ITSM
• Working knowledge of security and cloud technologies
• Experience using PPM tools such as Planview or Clarity
