that supports our logistics SaaS platforms (AFM, AEM), and ensure 24/7 operational continuity for our customers across North America.
This is a
critical technical role
for an experienced infrastructure expert who thrives on ownership, problem-solving, and building systems that scale. You will work closely with our DBA, Dev, and Ops teams to modernize our stack, improve uptime, and eliminate performance bottlenecks.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement a
modern, fault-tolerant infrastructure
for internal and customer-facing applications
Build and maintain
disaster recovery
,
high availability
, and
failover systems
Analyze and optimize storage, network, and server performance across all environments
Implement
real-time monitoring
, alerting, and incident response frameworks (e.g. Icinga, Zabbix, Datadog)
Own the
backup and recovery strategy
for databases, servers, and file systems (local + cloud)
Collaborate with development teams to support CI/CD pipelines, testing environments, and version control
Lead
infrastructure documentation
, asset management, and SOP creation
Stay ahead of security vulnerabilities and apply patches/hardening across systems
Recommend and implement cutting-edge technologies to future-proof infrastructure
Participate in root cause analysis and post-mortems for infrastructure incidents
Requirements
5-10+ years of experience in
IT infrastructure engineering
, with deep hands-on technical skills
Proven experience with
Windows servers
,
VMs
,
firewalls
, and
RAID/NAS storage
Strong expertise in
performance troubleshooting
(disk I/O, network, app performance, etc.)
Familiar with
.NET environments
, IIS, and database operations (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
Knowledge of
backup solutions
, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or hybrid), and DR architecture
Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, PRTG, Zabbix, Prometheus, or equivalent)
Strong scripting and automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python, etc.)
Ability to audit existing infrastructure, identify gaps, and implement high-impact improvements
Exceptional troubleshooting, documentation, and execution skills
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, AWS SysOps, CompTIA Server+/Network+, or similar
Experience in a
SaaS or logistics software environment
is a strong asset
Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, Ansible, etc.)
Understanding of cybersecurity standards and hardening practices
