Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 year experience working with development of applications/services in Microsoft .net environment with ASP.net and C#, MVC/WCF.
  • Minimum 2 year experience developing REST services (WCF/WebAPI) for public facing secure applications.
  • Languages & Technologies: ASP.Net, C#, MVC, WCF/WebAPI,
  • Advanced Skills: REST services development, JSON, XML, XML Schemes (XSD), WSDL, XSL, IOC(Unity/Ninject/AutoFac), LINQ, Entity Framework
  • Development Tools: Visual Studio, Automated unit testing, nUnit, MSTest, SoapUI Pro, BitBucket, Jenkins/TFS/CruiseControl, Test/Data Driven Development
  • Databases: SQL Server (SQL 2008/2012)
  • Environment Knowledge: Windows 2008, IIS, DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP, DMZ, SAN, Web, Virtualization, Windows Clustering, Network Load Balancing, General Network Infrastructure, and Service Oriented Architecture (general knowledge and understanding of these environments.)

About This Role
This is a programming position. Primary responsibility: programming
Candidates will be doing Online Banking Applications/Web Services development on Microsoft .NET environment.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for requirements analysis, design and development of applications/services across multiple client server or web based platforms.
  • Work closely with Architecture, Business Analysts, QA, and other technology teams on application design and ensure system requirements are implemented and delivered as per enterprise standards.
  • Develop Web applications/Services in WCF, C#, ASP.NET etc, Perform code reviews, Perform unit & Integration testing.
Key accountabilities:
  • Participate in analysis and system design specification sessions. Documentation of design options, and solution according to System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology. Ensure that solutions adhere to development best practices and architectural principles.
  • Apply analytical skills to resolve problems and deliver viable solutions. Anticipate obstacles and execute proactive approaches to issues. Active participation in issue resolution.
  • Provide development estimates to Project Manager for development effort as well as weekly status reporting.
  • Configuration management and source control for the sub projects within the release.
  • Responsible for coding, testing, packaging, deployment and support of builds as code is promoted from development, system, acceptance and production environments. May lead code reviews.
  • Provide technical support to business and testing team during testing phases. Track defects, defect triage and resolution.
  • Knowledge transfer within group, ensure required documentation is housed in the project repository.

Additional Information

Must Have:
  • ASP.NET, C#, WCF/WebAPI, RESTFul Services development experience
  • Minimum 5 years\' experience with application/services development in Microsoft .NET/C# environment
