Location(s)Brandon, ManitobaCompanyKoch FertilizerCareer FieldEngineeringJob Number159496Koch Fertilizer is looking for a Senior Instrumentation and Control Engineer in our Brandon, MB Location!!This position offers exposure to various Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) equipment/platforms while being contingent on engineering fundamentals and reliability analysis. The successful candidate will support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of process control systems at KFC, Brandon. The successful candidate will support day-to-day Instrumentation and Control responsibilities for the facility and support/lead the capital projects. The role offers opportunities for training courses in engineering, supervision, and management to support personal development and business needs. The successful candidate will manage and perform as a member of a high-performing team. Koch Fertilizer, LLC and its affiliates, including Koch Nitrogen Company, LLC and Koch Fertilizer Canada, ULC, have the capability to manufacture, market and distribute more than ten million metric tons of fertilizer products annually.What You Will Do In Your Role\xc2\xb7 Responsible for ensuring I&C team is leveraging the most effective, economical, and reliable technologies to meet business and customer needs.\xc2\xb7 Contribute in larger KAES and Koch Industries community of practices in these areas and integrate their work at Brandon site\xc2\xb7 Lead/Support the site\'s instrument integrity and reliability program\xc2\xb7 Develop and maintain written procedures, checklists, and acceptance forms to test and document that instrument and control loops are performing correctly\xc2\xb7 Lead/Support the development and enhancement of AMS Device Manager for HART-Smart instrument and field devices. Optimize utilization of the tool and technology for instrument, control valve including sizing, and control loop integrity and predictive maintenance\xc2\xb7 Perform root cause failure analysis on instrumentation and control valves\xc2\xb7 Develop & execute I&C scopes for projects and reliability improvement initiatives (e.g. digital transformation programs, control improvement opportunities etc.).\xc2\xb7 Provide timely support to the operations/maintenance team in of malfunctions and complex repairs.\xc2\xb7 Work with Maintenance, Operations and Plant Engineering to determine alternatives and provide guidance during problem analysis. Work to find the best fit for purpose solution that supports the needs of the business..\xc2\xb7 Ensure safety controls are performing per design and participate in functional safety work\xc2\xb7 Working knowledge of DeltaV DCS/SIS, PLCs from Schneider and Siemens S7-400, CCC controllers, protection system such as Woodward peak 150/200, Woodward protech 203/GII and CSI racks for high-speed rotating equipment\xc2\xb7 Proficiency in communication protocol such as TCP/IP, Profibus, Profinet, Modbus Plus, Modbus Serial etc.\xc2\xb7 Excellent work ethic, ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently and exemplify a strong safety cultureThe Experience You Will BringRequirements:

• I&C Engineering Degree with eligibility for registration in the Province of Manitoba as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng)
• At least five (5) years of experience in the field of Instrument and Control design/maintenance/reliability/project management.
• Experience with troubleshooting in DeltaV DCS/SIS, PLC, and Field Instrumentation.
