Position Summary and Scope of Service

St. Amant is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Analyst for the Technology Services Department. Under the general direction of the Manager, Technology Services, the incumbent is accountable for providing advanced analysis and support of St. Amant \'s IT infrastructure and integrated systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Takes a lead role in performing complex operational support and implementation of IT Infrastructure technology.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and identify modifications needed in existing infrastructure to meet changing user requirements.
  • Assume responsibility for the complete lifecycle of infrastructure systems, including but not restricted to input to the assessment of design, builds, post-installation support, and deployments.
  • Participate in network design, including developing proposals for implementation of network components.
  • Document adjustments made to hardware and software and provide documentation for new systems as needed.
  • Monitor system performance and system maintenance work as assigned.
  • Perform within change control and ticketing system environment.
  • Monitor network performance and capacity and recommend modifications or enhancements.
Qualifications:
  • The incumbent has a post-secondary degree in computer science or completed a recognized program from a technical college. An equivalent combination of relevant training and experience would be considered. Recognized certifications in information technology platforms and systems (i.e. Citrix, Azure, M365), Security (i.e. CompTIA Security+), and ITIL (3 or 4) are assets.
  • This position requires a minimum of four years of experience in infrastructure support and management in one or more of the following technical areas: Server Virtualization, Citrix XenApp and NetScaler, Server Backup, Network Security, Multifactor Authentication (MFA), Microsoft 365, Networking (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VLANs, subnetting, etc.), Active Directory, Group Policies, firewall management, switches, VOIP, and Microsoft software and related platforms.
  • The incumbent possesses strong organizational, decision-making, critical thinking, and analytical skills to make recommendations to management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to customer service to work effectively with all members of the organization and external stakeholders are needed.
  • Results-oriented, motivated to achieve high standards, solve problems, document procedures, and make decisions that support departmental and organizational goals.
  • Must consistently work effectively, cooperatively, and collaboratively with others and in pressure situations.
  • Ability to handle multiple simultaneous demands efficiently and calmly, prioritize, and manage and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to function effectively as a team leader.
