We're united by a shared commitment to excellent and equitable health care.Position OverviewUnder the general supervision of the Manager, Employee Relations, and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of St. Boniface Hospital, the Senior Human Resources Consultant is responsible for:Consultant Support - acts as a knowledge resource in the department by providing consultative direction and coaching to staff within Human Resources and Management within the Hospital.Management Support - consults on issues related to Performance Management, Attendance Support and Assistance Program, and Respectful Workplace Complaints. Work with Occupational Health in facilitating Return to Work and Workplace Accommodation Programs.Employee Relations - investigates workplace complaints, facilitates dispute resolution, administers employee relations activities of the Hospital in the interests of both union and non-union employees.Labour Relations - interprets collective agreements and non-union policies, works with Managers on application of progressive discipline and grievance processes, participates in collective bargaining, supports the planning and implementation of Labour Adjustments.Recruitment functions - coordinate and participate in the applicable panel interviews; and participates in establishment and implementation of regional recruitment goals.Experience
