Reporting to the Global Public Relations Senior Director, the Senior Global Public Relations Manager is responsible for supporting the strategic PR efforts of lululemon, overseeing facets of consumer-facing outreach for brand, product, and community. Main responsibilities for this position include creating the department\'s strategic public relations plans, delivering successful results; along with leading team foundational tools and resources, including managing monthly and quarterly budget. You will also be responsible for developing creative solutions to best establish the department as a resource for the needs of PR leaders in regions around the world. And, you\'ll liaise with Global Internal Communications and Global Corporate Communications to support where needed.

a day in the life: what you\'ll do

  • Develop departmental objectives and influence annual and program-specific strategies.
  • Create, develop and guide the execution of global consumer PR campaigns and opportunities.
  • Serve as a focal point for regional PR leaders, identifying opportunities that can be scaled to other regions.
  • Create compelling product, brand and community messaging, and use your strong media relations skills to support in coaching company spokespeople.
  • Build authentic relationships with key media and industry influencers that result in authentic earned editorial globally
qualifications
  • 8-12 years of dynamic experience in public relations and experience working for a global organization.
  • Strength in leading people and partners - understands how to bring the best out in others.
  • At least 2 years\' of experience managing a department budget.
  • Strong media relationships and a strong understanding of the digital landscape.
  • Brand, product and retail experience.
  • Experienced in building strategies and the thought of doing everything that you\'ve learned a bit differently is energizing.
  • Experience managing agency relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; and strong presentation skills.
  • Quickly and easily develop relationships and people come to you for advice because they trust your opinion.
  • Strong writer.
