Fortinet is looking for an Intermediate to Senior Software Developer to join our Web Filtering team in the R&D division. This role will enable you to gain exposure to complex technology in network security and provide you with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with the various stages in the development cycle. We are looking for a full stack web developer to work on our team!
Job Skills Required:
- 4+ years of professional Software development experience
- Backend - REST APIs, Big Data with both batch and streaming jobs.
- Frontend - Web app developer
- Experience with Programming languages: Java and/or Python
- Experience with Web frameworks like PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Apache Web Server
- Solid knowledge on relational database and SQL
- Familiar with networking protocols/stacks and network analysis tools
- Experience with development on Linux environment
- Good communication skills, quick learner, self-initiative, responsive and responsible
- Positive attitude
- Passion for Coding
- Superior problem solving
- Great trouble shooting skills
- High motivation to succeed
- The ideal candidate is a team player and has excellent time management skills plus strong motivation towards career goals and growth.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
