We are currently seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer - Hybrid Position to join our team in Montreal, Quebec (CA-QC), Canada (CA).
Day to Day Job Duties:

• Design, develop, and deploy secure, scalable, and high?performance full?stack applications for banking and financial systems.
• Build responsive and intuitive frontend applications using Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, Redux, Bootstrap, and Material UI.
• Develop backend services using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Hibernate, and REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Create and maintain microservices ensuring transactional integrity and high availability across core banking workflows.
• Implement event-driven services and integrations using Kafka.
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to HLD/LLD documentation.
• Apply clean code principles, SOLID, design patterns, and secure development best practices.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and enforce coding and architectural standards.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git?based workflows.
• Deploy and manage services using Docker and Kubernetes in cloud or on?prem environments.
• Monitor system performance using Splunk, Dynatrace, ELK Stack, Prometheus, or similar tools.
• Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, QA, Architects, and Project Managers to deliver high?quality solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily standups, sprint planning, grooming, retrospectives, and estimations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, including root?cause analysis and performance tuning.
• Ensure security, stability, and reliability across critical banking applications.
• Optimize database queries, API performance, and frontend rendering for speed and scalability.
• Mentor junior developers and guide the team on engineering best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of hands?on experience in Java development building enterprise apps.
• 8+ years of strong programming skills in Java with deep understanding of Object-Oriented Design principles.
• 5+ years of experience working with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, RESTful microservices, and Hibernate/JPA.
• Experience integrating distributed systems with Kafka.
• Experience with frontend frameworks including Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, SCSS.
• Hands?on experience with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Git and Jenkins.
• Strong working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
• Hands?on experience using monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, ELK, Prometheus.
• Understanding of authentication and security standards such as OAuth2.0, JWT, SAML, TLS encryption.
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem?solving skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working in the Banking or Financial Services domain.
• Experience working with XML, JSON, and secure enterprise integrations.
• Prior experience mentoring or leading small development teams.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Degree: Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

• Concevoir, developper et deployer des applications full-stack securisees, evolutives et performantes pour les systemes bancaires et financiers.

• Creer et maintenir des microservices garantissant l'integrite transactionnelle et la haute disponibilite des processus bancaires principaux.

• Implementer des services et integrations evenementiels avec Kafka.

• Participer aux discussions architecturales et contribuer a la documentation HLD/LLD.

• Appliquer les principes du code propre, les principes SOLID, les modeles de conception et les bonnes pratiques de developpement securise.

• Effectuer des revues de code approfondies et veiller au respect des normes de codage et d'architecture.

• Implementer des pipelines CI/CD avec Jenkins et des workflows bases sur Git. o Deployer et gerer des services a l'aide de Docker et Kubernetes dans des environnements cloud ou sur site.

• Surveiller les performances du systeme a l'aide de Splunk, Dynatrace, ELK Stack, Prometheus ou d'outils similaires.

• Collaborer etroitement avec les analystes fonctionnels, les equipes QA, les architectes et les chefs de projet afin de fournir des solutions de haute qualite.

• Participer aux ceremonies Agile telles que les reunions quotidiennes, la planification des sprints, le grooming, les retrospectives et les estimations.

• Diagnostiquer et resoudre les problemes de production, notamment en analysant les causes profondes et en optimisant les performances.

• Garantir la securite, la stabilite et la fiabilite des applications bancaires critiques.

• Optimiser les requetes de base de donnees, les performances des API et le rendu frontend pour une vitesse et une scalabilite accrues.

• Encadrer les developpeurs juniors et guider l'equipe sur les bonnes pratiques d'ingenierie.

Qualifications requises :

• Plus de 8 ans d'experience pratique en developpement Java d'applications d'entreprise. o Plus de 8 ans d'experience en programmation Java, avec une excellente maitrise des principes de conception orientee objet.

• Plus de 5 ans d'experience avec Spring Boot, Spring Framework, les microservices RESTful et Hibernate/JPA.

• Experience d'integration de systemes distribues avec Kafka.

• Experience des frameworks frontend, notamment Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3 et SCSS.

• Experience pratique des bases de donnees relationnelles telles qu'Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server et MySQL.

• Experience des pipelines CI/CD avec Git et Jenkins.

• Solide connaissance de Docker, Kubernetes et de l'orchestration de conteneurs.

• Experience pratique des outils de supervision tels que Splunk, Dynatrace, ELK et Prometheus.

• Connaissance des normes d'authentification et de securite telles que OAuth 2.0, JWT, SAML et le chiffrement TLS.
