We are seeking a strategic and results-driven

Senior Franchise Development Manager

to drive the strategic growth of OPA! of Greece through the recruitment, qualification, and development of high-quality franchise partners. This role plays a key leadership function within the Franchise Development & Leasing team, managing the end-to-end franchise sales process while ensuring alignment with the brand's growth objectives, financial targets, and market strategy.

Key Responsibilities:



Franchise Sales & Growth



Lead the franchise development process from initial inquiry through franchise agreement execution. Actively source, qualify, and recruit prospective franchisees aligned with OPA! of Greece's brand standards, financial requirements, and cultural values. Meet or exceed annual franchise sales and development targets as established by senior leadership. Extensive franchise recruitment knowledge and connections across Canada with special attention to Ontario and the Atlantic provinces. Manage and maintain a robust franchise development pipeline using FranConnect CRM tools. Coordinate with internal teams to support successful openings and ongoing development results.

Strategic Market Development



Collaborate with the Director of Franchise Development & Leasing to execute strategic initiatives, growth plans by market, region, and trade area. Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, including single-unit and multi-unit franchise development. Support area development and multi-unit franchise agreements where applicable. Provide market insights, progress reports, and tracking to ensure yearly growth objectives are met.

Leasing & Site Selection Support



Work closely with the Leasing team to align franchisee placement with approved real estate strategies. Assist current franchise partners and candidates in understanding site selection criteria, timelines, and leasing expectations. Participate in site approval discussions as required.

Franchisee Relationship Management



Serve as the primary point of contact for current franchise partners and candidates during the development phase. Ensure a smooth transition of new franchisees from Development to Operations. Maintain strong, professional relationships with franchisees, ensuring clear communication and expectation management.

Compliance & Documentation



Ensure all franchise sales activities comply with franchise disclosure laws and company policies. Coordinate and support the timely delivery of Franchise Disclosure Documents (FDD) and related materials. Work with the Director of Franchise Development & Leasing, along with the Development Coordinator to facilitate franchise agreement execution.

Leadership & Collaboration



Provide mentorship and guidance to junior franchise development team members, as applicable. Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Executive Leadership to support overall system growth. Represent OPA! of Greece at franchise shows, industry events, discovery days, and corporate meetings, when applicable.

Qualifications & Experience:



Minimum

5-7 years

of experience in franchise development, franchise sales, or a related role within the restaurant or QSR franchise industry. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding franchise sales and development targets. Strong understanding of franchise disclosure regulations and franchise sales best practices. Experience working with leasing teams and understanding retail real estate fundamentals. Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills. Highly organized with strong FranConnect CRM and reporting capabilities. Ability to travel as required.

Education:



Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field preferred. Equivalent industry experience will be considered.
