About this Position

This position is open for both Burnaby and Markham offices.
Job Scope
As a Multimedia Software Engineer in Test, you will be part of a team developing firmware and software solutions for SoCs designed by NETINT. You will design and maintain automated test systems to verify software and firmware.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated test systems
- Design test plans and test cases to verify video decode/encode/transcoding and storage device
- Maintain the automated test system and solve problems found in the system
Qualifications
- Good knowledge in video encode/decode/transcoding processing (e.g., video formats, frame structure, different codecs)
- Familiar with popular video test tools (e.g., ffmpeg, ffprobe)
- Experienced in reliability/performance/robustness test of Video validation
- Proficient in Python/Shell programming
- MS or BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
Desired Skills
- Storage related experience/knowledge
- C/C++ programming
