Support the Supply Chain Finance Director in the analysis of strategic change initiatives within the manufacturing and supply chain optimization agenda
Design and refine effective forecasting models to anticipate costs and financial outcomes, enabling proactive decision-making and strategic planning
Implement changes to current processes to enhance the reliability of standard costs, including full cost-to-serve and ABC costing calculations
Work closely with Finance FP&A sales and marketing to develop customer and product-specific business cases
Lead the process for maintenance of standard costs across the organization, fostering consistency and accuracy to drive informed decision-making and operational efficiency
Lead efforts to manage and enhance the innovation costing process, ensuring accurate assessment to optimize resource allocation for innovative initiatives
Implement robust controls within supply chain to identify and eliminate unnecessary costs, driving significant reductions and enhancing overall cost efficiency for the organization
Qualifications
CPA Designation
5 + years of progressive finance/accounting experience, and working knowledge in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred
Advanced skill level working with Microsoft Excel and demonstrated ability working with PowerPoint, Outlook, Word
Experience in Power BI.
Experience in full cycle accounting and knowledge of financial statements
Notes:
The position is based at our head office in Richmond, BC, with occasional travel to our manufacturing plants within North America
We're in the office Monday/Tuesday/Thursday and WFH Wednesday/Friday
Based on experience, we will pay a base salary range between $85,000 - $110,000
10% annual bonus based on individual and company performance
