Job Description

Global Gourmet Foods is a division of Premium Brands Holdings Corporation (TSX: PBH) which owns a broad range of leading specialty food manufacturing and differentiated food distribution businesses with operations. Global Gourmet Foods is a federally registered food manufacturer who supplies premium kettle products to key accounts in both domestic and export markets.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer in preparing and updating financial models and providing financial analysis to improve business performance and to support in strategic decision making. You will play an integral role in Gourmet Group's finance team and as part of the corporate reporting team.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:



Support financial review process in validating and analyzing financial results, capital spending, and other KPIs against prior periods, budget and projections. Assist with preparation of monthly management report and quarterly group reporting package Work closely with the CFO to develop or update financial models on revenue forecasts, margin profiles, capex plans and operating budget. Gather inputs and assumptions from various departments, perform analysis on key drivers, and provide insights to relevant stakeholders to improve business performance Partner closely with supply chain and inventory management team to monitor standard cost variances, understand historical trends and develop projections Provide information and analysis to support business case development for the organization's projects and programs, including consideration of alternative approaches, analysis of key risks, and development of mitigations where optimal Lead, coordinate, propose and implement improvements to work processes for financial planning and analysis to enable accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:



Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance CPA designation or other relevant professional designation(s) Min 3 years' experience in accounting or finance related roles, preferably in public accounting, and/(or) FP&A Previous experience with OneStream, Acctivate, and(or) QuickBooks would be an asset Nimble and detail-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy Able to build rapport and effective relationships with a large number of partners while serving as a challenger in the development of sound financial/business plans Motivated self-starter with the ability to identify potential and/or existing financial issues, evaluate available options and recommend corrective action Advanced Excel skills required with demonstrated ability to build and maintain financial models Comfortable with managing large amounts of data in different formats and systems Effective written and verbal communication skills
