As our
Senior Financial Analyst
, reporting to the
Controller
you will play a key role in shaping the future of our organization. What You'll Be Doing:
Lead month-end close activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting and account reconciliations.
Build and maintain financial models to support budgets, forecasts, and strategic decision-making.
Partner with cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights and performance recommendations.
Design, maintain, and automate dashboards and KPI reporting using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
Conduct variance, cost, and margin analyses to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Prepare and analyze cash flow forecasts and working capital reports.
Support audits and compliance requirements, including HST, WSIB, and other regulatory filings.
Maintain fixed asset schedules including acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation.
Mentor or guide junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement projects.
Lead or assist in strategic initiatives such as ERP implementations, automation efforts, and business case analyses
What You'll Bring:
4-7 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
CPA, CFA, or MBA designation (or actively pursuing).
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Commerce, or Business Administration.
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, Power Query, VBA, or modeling).
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate data into insights.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Experience in transportation or logistics is an asset.
Work independently and manage time effectively.
Strong organization skills with high attention to detail.
Ability to multitask.
