The Expense Management team is an integral part of the IGM Strategy, Planning, and Analysis function. This team handles planning and forecasting, expense management and reporting of expenses and FTEs and month-end close activities.
The Senior Financial Analyst, Expense Management role involves supporting Finance Business Partners to deliver insightful financial planning, forecasting, reporting, variance analysis, and month-end close tasks.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the development of financial forecasts and annual plans.
Analyze financial results and provide variance commentaries.
Support month-end close activities. * Analyze financial transactions and reconcile General ledger accounts.

• Prepare and post journal entries.

Prepare periodic financial deck to business leaders with insights on financial performance versus benchmarks.
Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks, as needed.
Qualifications:
Degree in Finance/Accounting, CPA designation or actively pursuing CPA certification.
Experience in accounting, financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
Proficiency in MS applications and SAP is an asset.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial insights to stakeholders.
Ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
