As a
Senior Financial Analyst (SFA)
, you'll play a key role in leading financial controls, SOX compliance, and performance reporting for a growing division that's shaping the future of automation and life sciences. You'll have exposure to global operations, work directly with cross-functional leaders, and drive initiatives that ensure integrity, transparency, and continuous improvement across the business.
This is not a back-office role - it's a visible, hands-on position where your analysis and recommendations influence real business outcomes.

What You'll Do
FINANCIAL REPORTING AND ACCOUNTING
Developing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives with respect to the finance processes within the ATS Code of Business Conduct.
Supporting the Monthly reconciliation of any B/S accounts associated with the business unit.
Responsible for ensuring that the Cambridge Systems Division financial reporting is in accordance with IFRS.
Responsible for preparing audit working papers on a quarterly basis, ensuring that all accounts are reconciled.
Intercompany reconciliations and reporting & assisting with other monthly corporate reporting
Assisting with cash forecasting & Forecast foreign cash flows for determination of hedge settlement
INTERNAL CONTROL, POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
Working with internal and external audit teams to put in place strong financial controls and processes.
Working with the broader team to implement the financial controls and compliance processes
Providing early warning of business and financial risks along with opportunities to allow accurate, timely information for business decisions.
OPERATIONAL SUPPORT
Analyzing various profit streams and identification of key opportunities
Providing early warning of risks along with opportunities to allow accurate, timely information for business decision making including review and investigation of monthly cost variances.
Reviewing project scope change and change order requests for proper justification, schedule impacts, and adequate budget and funding.
Working with Project Managers to forecast work required to complete the project after identification of any scope/cost/schedule issues.
Reporting project cost and schedule status to management for internal reviews as well as analyzing cost variances and recommending corrective actions for capital projects.
OPERATIONS SUPPORT
Supporting the bid approval process, working closely with account managers & the Director, Applications
Ensuring any financial risks are mitigated (credit/FX/transfer pricing/taxes) & building in cost of financing & EDC costs to any bids
Supporting Financial planning and budgeting processes

What You Bring
5+ years of progressive finance experience, ideally within a global or manufacturing organization.
2+ years in financial audit (external or internal), with strong SOX and internal control knowledge.
CPA or equivalent designation (or in progress).
Advanced analytical skills and comfort with complex financial data and systems.
A hands-on, detail-oriented mindset with curiosity and drive for continuous improvement.
Strong communication and business partnership skills -- you translate numbers into action.
