Reporting to the Senior Manager, Finance Reporting & Systems, the Financial Analyst is responsible for managing the requests for structure changes to be processed in our SAP and Oracle reporting applications. They will also be
responsible for analyzing data and preparing various monthly reports in support of our Business Enablement Services function.
What you will do:
Prepare detailed reports for assigned groups. Investigate identified variances
Assist in month end close process
Manage the ServiceNow requests for Structure Changes
Perform administrative tasks to maintain structures changes in SAP and Oracle Reporting systems
Manage Functional Mailboxes ensuring all enquiries are actioned or assigned
Liaise with Finance Analysts and various client groups to follow up on time-sensitive queries
Ad-hoc projects or analysis as required
Writing complex SQL queries and aggregating large datasets to import data into Power BI and Excel
Gathering raw data from various sources including databases (SQL Server), Spreadsheets (Excel) and other systems (SAP and SAP HANA)
Troubleshooting application issues using Excel VBA Macros, Access Macros and SQL queries
Ensuring the accuracy and consistency of reports through data quality checks and validation
Create dashboards and reports in Power BI

What you bring to this role:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, data science or equivalent
1-2 years' experience in financial analysis and/or data analytics and/or systems administration
Strong customer focus, interpersonal skills and ability to work independently
Strong analytical skills with an ability to get into the details, while also seeing and understanding the big picture
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with all levels within the firm
Very strong attention to detail
Ability to work quickly and accurately under the pressure of deadlines and changing priorities.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Experience managing reporting Structures (SAP or Oracle an advantage)
Experience writing SQL queries
Experience creating Power BI report
