Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fabrication and manufacturing processes, demonstrating expertise in various techniques and tools. This role involves working with metal components, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the fabrication process. The Senior Fabricator will play a crucial role in supporting production goals while mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain various fabrication equipment including press brake , mills , drills , saws and excellent knowledge of machine shop equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to fabricate components accurately. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments such as calipers to ensure precision in all work. Perform rigging tasks safely when moving heavy materials or components using cranes or forklifts. Conduct machining operations as required for specific projects. Assemble fabricated parts into final products, ensuring adherence to quality standards. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and optimize fabrication processes. Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety protocols.

Qualifications

Proven experience in metal fabrication within a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various fabrication machinery. Proficiency in operating a Brake Press for a job shop. Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. Experience using hand tools, power tools, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Knowledge of assembly processes and quality control measures within the fabrication industry. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
