Job Description

Full COMPANY OVERVIEW

Domaco-Encocorp Construction (DEC) is a leading EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contractor specializing in the full-cycle development of mission-critical data centers across North America. With decades of combined experience and a strong portfolio of successful data center builds, our team is committed to delivering high-performance infrastructure that meets the most rigorous industry standards. Our integrated approach brings together design, engineering, and construction expertise to ensure precision, speed, and quality at every stage.

POSITION SUMMARY

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to lead the cost estimating function for large-scale data center and industrial construction projects. The Senior Estimator will develop, manage, and present accurate cost models, bids, and budgets throughout all phases of the project--from concept and design through procurement and construction. This role requires deep expertise in commercial and industrial estimating, with a strong preference for candidates experienced in data center and MEP-intensive EPC environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare detailed and accurate estimates, budgets, and cost analyses for complex EPC data center projects. Review project drawings, specifications, and scope documents to determine material, labor, and equipment requirements. Lead and coordinate the estimate development process--including quantity take-offs, vendor quotations, subcontractor pricing, and cost validation. Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Procurement, and Construction teams to ensure all cost inputs align with project execution plans. Develop and maintain unit cost databases, historical benchmarks, and productivity metrics for continuous improvement. Evaluate and compare design alternatives, construction methodologies, and material selections to optimize value and reduce costs. Support pre-construction activities, including conceptual estimating, risk assessments, and cost modeling for feasibility studies. Prepare comprehensive bid packages and proposals, ensuring competitive and compliant submissions. Participate in scope reviews, value engineering sessions, and subcontractor negotiations. Provide cost control insights and forecasting support throughout project execution. Ensure all estimating documentation, version control, and pricing methodologies comply with DEC's standards and best practices.
