About the Role

ESW Building Services Inc. is seeking a

Senior Estimator

to support our continued growth and help deliver accurate, competitive proposals for a variety of renovation and restoration projects. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys analyzing project data, and takes pride in producing clear, precise cost breakdowns that guide successful project execution.

What You'll Do

Prepare detailed, well-structured cost estimates for multiple types of construction projects. Analyze drawings, specifications, and project scopes to identify potential risks or missing information. Develop pricing models and proposals using industry software (HeavyBid, Bluebeam, or similar). Work closely with project managers, site teams, and clients to ensure cost estimates align with project goals and expectations. Source and negotiate competitive pricing from suppliers and subcontractors. Evaluate bids for accuracy, scope, and value. Maintain organized estimate documentation and revision logs. Contribute to scheduling discussions and assist in planning timelines as needed. Participate in pre-construction and progress meetings to provide costing insight.

What You Bring

Demonstrated experience in construction estimating or cost analysis. Proficiency with estimating or takeoff software (HeavyBid and/or Bluebeam experience is an asset). Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset. Excellent communication and negotiation skills when dealing with vendors, trades, and internal teams. Ability to manage multiple estimates in a fast-paced setting and meet deadlines. A background in construction, engineering, or project management is preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$45.00 per hour
