We collaborate with multiple departments to establish our vision, and absolutely light up as we watch it all come together. We are utilizing advanced tools and technologies to shape our vision of building diverse and accessible AAA games.

A Senior Environment Artist will work with the lead to help establish the quality bar, pipelines and process and work towards establishing the Timbre art style

As a Senior Environment Artist at Timbre, you will:


    • Model, texture and sculpt stylized environments into our pre-production pipeline
    • Testing and assembling a variety of assets (architecture, foliage, props) in Unreal Engine 5
    • Work with Lead Artist and tech art team to set up and maintain environment art pipelines and workflows
    • Work with the Art Lead and Art Director to realize the specific vision for an environment based on concept art and style guides
    • Collaborate with Level Designers to define the look of a map, and to create assets that fit the requirement of Level Design
    • Build modular kits for level geometry
    • Partner with Recruitment in interviewing, hiring and then guiding future Art Timbreoos

What you bring:
    • Worked on one shipped AAA title previously
    • You\'ve previously owned or driven specific areas of a games environment art, and feel comfortable taking on this quest
    • A portfolio that shows stylized environments and models
    • Comfort working and integrating assets into a game engine, preferably Unreal
    • Expertise in Maya, Zbrush & Substance Painter. Substance Designer is a nice-to-have!
    • An interest in building procedurally generated content
    • An interest in prototyping; joining a project from early conception through to launch
