Senior Embedded Linux Developer

What you will achieve

You will be involved in developing Dell\xe2\x80\x99s O-RAN hardware accelerator card: from board bring-up and development, software design, development, and deployment.

The team will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing a technology new to Dell for addressing the demands of 5G-NR subsystem for operators and to help our customers exploit this significant market evolution. Your contributions will drive product architecture and implementation in support of building something from the ground up.

You will

Participate in design and development, testing, documentation, test automation, and hardware validation

Present technical findings, participate in Dell\xe2\x80\x99s Agile SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)

Create architecture and design documentation, as well as internal user documentation

Continually evolve SDLC and best practices within team

Essential Requirements

Excellent software development fundamentals: interfaces, layers, modularity, testability, build systems, dependency management, etc.

Fluent in a scripting language, such as Python, as well as Shell scripting

Experience with embedded Linux: boot loader, build environments, DTS, Linux drivers etc.

Solid knowledge of networking and communication protocols (Ethernet, TCP/IP, SSH)

Desirable Requirements

5+ years of experience developing applications on Linux using C/C++

Experience with Secure Boot
