Your future role on our team
We are currently seeking an Intermediate Electrical Engineer with strong business acumen to manage projects and develop business relationships with our clients in the energy and natural resources sectors.
By joining our team, you will be asked to contribute to the various stages of project execution, from proposal to site supervision and the commissioning of substation equipment, including analyses of industrial electrical systems, detailed engineering, equipment specification and site surveys.

Be responsible for business relations and the quality of professional services.
Lead the preparation and help draft proposals.
Lead and carry out electrical engineering projects for industrial clients.
Develop and implement work methods.
Prepare, draft and produce study reports.
Design power systems and approve associated engineering documents.
Manage the technical aspects of projects (design reviews, costs, schedules).
Share your technical knowledge with young engineers on the team to prepare the next generation of technical professionals.

Overview of certifications and job requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
Member of the Ordre des ingenieurs du Quebec (OIQ)
At least 5 to 12 years of relevant experience in MV and HV power systems and equipment
Available to travel among our Mont-Saint-Hilaire, Sept-aZles and Labrador City offices
Available for short-term (mandatory) and long-term (asset) assignments outside our offices
Extensive knowledge of electrical installation safety
In-depth knowledge of MV and HV equipment and apparatus
Intermediate knowledge of test equipment
Intermediate knowledge of work site safety (workersaEUR(TM) compensation) and site supervision
Knowledge of power flow studies, short-circuit studies, protection coordination and arc flash hazard analysis
Knowledge of the MS Office Suite (Outlook, MS Project, Excel)
Proficient with ETAP, EMTP-RV, Cyme and PSAF software
Bilingual (English and French) in spoken and written communications, and able to draft technical documents in both English and French
