Reporting to the Chief Brand and Communications Officer, the Senior Director, Communications will work with internal teams to drive business and brand objectives.Key Relationships:

  • Line of business: Business, Bank, Residential, Wireless
  • Functions: Technology and HR teams.
  • Marketing teams.
  • Internal brand and creative team.
Key Responsibilites:
  • Develop and deliver a communications strategy to support the company\'s products, services and technology roadmap.
  • Work in partnership with leaders across Rogers lines of business to deliver a pipeline of announcements that drive positive media coverage and support business objectives.
  • Work closely with leaders in HR to deliver internal communications that drive engagement.
  • Create engaging communications materials that help tell the Rogers story.
  • Support media relations, provide advice on media strategy, issues and crises management.
  • Provide strategic communications counsel to executives and help develop and deliver their communications platform, including messaging, speeches, and media interviews.
  • Build trusted, collaborative relationships with key partners and peers.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree with a focus on communications, journalism or business.
  • 20+ years experience leading communications for top tier brands.
  • Extensive knowledge of the telecommunications industry.
