To lead the data strategy, analytics programs and advanced insights initiatives for three separate business entities in the Canadian market. This leader will partner with executive stakeholders to drive data-informed decision-making, oversee a high-performance analytics team and deliver measurable business impact through data science, business intelligence and advanced analytics solutions. The ideal candidate is both a visionary strategist and a hands-on leader who can translate complex data into actionable insights that drives operational excellence and delivers business results. This includes providing senior management with reporting and insights required to manage business performance, working with various functional departments (Sales, Finance and Trade Marketing) and supporting ad hoc strategic projects.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the implementation of a long-term data and analytics strategy Evaluate and implement best-in-class analytics tools, platforms and methodologies Utilize emerging trends in AI, machine learning and advanced analytics to drive insights Oversee data governance to ensure accuracy, accessibility and completeness Champion scalable and sustainable data practices across the organization Work with various stakeholders to understand business drivers, goals, and actionable outcomes using analytics Drive business decision making based on analysis and insights generation. As a member of the BBC Leadership Team, contribute to the broader leadership and strategic development of the business. Build an organization able to meet current and future business challenges through organization development, coaching and capability development Present strategic implications to senior leadership in an accurate and compelling manner. Maintain high levels of employee engagement and a culture that encompasses the Company Values Drive engagement and utilization of selling tools and technology to maximize business performance Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder's supervisor, may also be required.

Minimum Qualifications

:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent required 10 years management experience in data analytics, business intelligence or data science 7+ years' experience as a senior business leader with a proven track record of delivering business results. Strong expertise in statistical modeling, predictive analytics and visualization tools (eg. Tableau, Power BI etc) Solid understanding of modern data architectures, data warehouses/data lakes and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure etc) Relevant cross-functional business experience (finance, trade marketing, HR etc.) Knowledge of Liquor Board Regulations, market trends and competitive activity within the industry is an asset An authentic and inspiring leader with a track record of leading and developing talent Strong financial acumen
