The Network Charging team is responsible for the development of real-time charging, rating management solutions, such as Online Charging Systems, Wireless Prepaid, Event Based Charging, Data Charging Solutions, and future real-time charging management opportunities. Reporting to the Senior Manager in Network Charging, thesuccessful candidate will work closely with our network team while supporting various stakeholder teams. We are a fast-paced team that works in close partnership with Technology and Operations in order to deliver on our number one priority: Flawless Customer Experience

Key Responsibilities
\xef\x82\xb7 Be the developer that other developers look up to
\xef\x82\xb7 Provide coaching and constructive code review
\xef\x82\xb7 Own the code that you, and your teammates write
\xef\x82\xb7 Go and get the information you need, from stakeholders, product teams, customers, and partners
\xef\x82\xb7 Understand how the work you do impacts customers and the larger organization
\xef\x82\xb7 Implement a standard Software Development Lifecycle, including:
o Translating business requirements to technical requirements
o Identifying, and planning for non-functional requirements
o Incorporation of appropriate testing, linting, and security controls
\xef\x82\xb7 Continuous improvement: follow industry trends, identify and propose new and innovative processes and technologies, best practices, etc\xe2\x80\xa6
\xef\x82\xb7 Identify opportunities, work with peers on initiatives to refine technical vision, strategy, and other mandates
\xef\x82\xb7 Design, build, release and support your products
\xef\x82\xb7 Develop new products and enhance existing products
\xef\x82\xb7 Be a member of a cross-functional team, supporting others, and helping them support your products, through training and documentation
\xef\x82\xb7 Design, build, and deploy CI/CD pipelines to deploy your code
\xef\x82\xb7 Implement linting and code-smells
\xef\x82\xb7 Understand and test the response time, capacity limitations, and scale implications of your design choices.

Critical Qualifications
\xef\x82\xb7 Experience in designing, coding and operating Gitlab-ci jobs
\xef\x82\xb7 Experience in Gitlab configuring and operating runners
\xef\x82\xb7 Experience in ArgoCD or other GitOps tools
\xef\x82\xb7 Experience in scripting using Python, Shell, Perl to automate tasks
\xef\x82\xb7 Knowledge of Terraform & Ansible
\xef\x82\xb7 Knowledge of building and maintaining VM environments. Ideally OpenStack.
\xef\x82\xb7 Experience deploying software following the Software Development Lifecycle
\xef\x82\xb7 Experience with Git version control, including MR & PR workflows, designing and building CI/CD pipelines
\xef\x82\xb7 Leadership experience (tech lead, team lead, manager, or similar) and demonstrable leadership skills
\xef\x82\xb7 Good understanding of JSON and YAML structures
\xef\x82\xb7 Understanding and experience across a wide range of related or adjacent technologies, including:
\xef\x82\xb7 Containers (incl. container orchestration, registries)
\xef\x82\xb7 Networking
\xef\x82\xb7 Infrastructure (automation tools, infra-as-code, artifact storage, api-gateway, observability tools, log management, alarm management, load balancers, VMs, etc)
\xef\x82\xb7 Cloud & SaaS services
\xef\x82\xb7 Security
\xef\x82\xb7 System administration of Redhat environments
\xef\x82\xb7 Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to a broad range of audiences

Preferred Qualifications
\xef\x82\xb7 Software development knowledge
\xef\x82\xb7 Knowledge/Experience with Mobile Telecom
\xef\x82\xb7 Computer Science, related Engineering background or equivalent experience
\xef\x82\xb7 Experience in business technology market, and experience working closely with product and sales teams in SaaS solutions or related fields.
