What You\'ll Do:
  • Work under the guidance of the IT Manager to support internal clients on hardware and software
  • Work in developing ITSM related modules, conforming to ITIL
  • Managing and assigning tickets to other technicians as they come in, supporting and resolving others as needed
  • Document all steps required to create SOP for ITSM modules
  • Provide clear and effective written and verbal communication as needed
  • Ability to install, configure, and maintain computer software and hardware in a logical manner
  • Perform routine checks and automate recurring tasks wherever applicable
  • Resolve problems by executing and improving standard operating procedures
  • Create and document procedures as required
  • Support all end users in all Windows desktops related issues
  • Responsible for ensuring end user satisfaction
Do you fit the part?
  • 4+ years of experience in a technical support role
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Diploma/Degree in Computer Science or relevant industry experience
  • A valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license and vehicle are required as the successful candidate will be required to visit various locations on occasion
  • Deep knowledge of
    • Core Microsoft products such as Windows Desktop
    • Office 365 & related products
    • Internet technologies
    • Various software administration, e.g. graphic software, video editing and others
    • Printer administration: Setting up and fixing printers
  • Strong communication skills & ability to interact with diverse personalities
  • Ability to work with customers in a professional, courteous, and helpful manner
  • Strong history of positive customer interaction and customer support
  • Prior IT support experience in a retail space is an asset
  • Be results-oriented with tasks and complete with high sense of urgency and quality
  • A high capacity for learning new technologies
  • Good public relations skills with the ability to remain courteous, tactful, and diplomatic in dealing with internal and external clients.
