To produce application designs and equipment designs that meet requirements utilising processes based on established engineering principles. Involved with complex and difficult designs. Lead Engineer - SIGNALLING. Lead design delivery team of Rail-Signaling CRC SE, in WSP Canada. Successfully delivered signal designs for rail projects. Your main responsibilities are: TECHNICAL SKILLS: \xc3\x98 Demonstrating a high degree of initiative, and resourcefulness in solving problems. \xc3\x98 Good understanding of SelTrac signal plans and SelTrac Radio equipment. \xc3\x98 Demonstrating an advanced level of logical reasoning resulting in effective hardware application designs, products and processes. \xc3\x98 Interpreting, identifying, and documentation of requirements such that customer needs are met within the budget and schedule constraints \xc3\x98 Ability to assemble components into enclosures to optimize room footprints. \xc3\x98 Formulating or contributing to the development of new designs. \xc3\x98 Implementing designs using good design practice and applicable AREMA and CENELEC standards and guidelines. \xc3\x98 Devising and running tests to verify functionality, and identifying and solving problems. \xc3\x98 Power distribution design knowledge for rail deployment is an asset. \xc3\x98 Preparing material specifications for hardware and/or software components. \xc3\x98 Proficient with the use of development tools, CAD packages (Microstation, AutoCAD, AutoCAD electrical) \xc3\x98 Selection of components that optimize MTBF of assemblies. Creation of project documentation and interface with Consortium members, technical customer staff and various Job Type: Full-time Salary: $55.00-$60.00 per hour Schedule:
